In Times Long Ago,
Every household had it’s own Metate
the Ancient Grinder of Harvests
Transforming Golden Corn and Grains into Life Force
It’s also a symbol of Man & Woman
the interaction between the two,
Sometimes Hard – Sometimes Joyful
producing Abundance and Love as they proceed through Life.”

A word about frames:
I have chosen the frame for each piece carefully with the goal of choosing a frame that complements the whole piece.
The measurements are made by the actual size of the piece when it is settled into the frame. Hence, some frames range from 1” to 2.5” wide, depending on the frame, the footprint is wider than the measurement.
There are no cheap black or metal frames in my studio or anywhere else connected with my prints.
My unique frames come from Franken Frames in Tennessee. I have been a satisfied customer for many years. The artwork is expertly settled into the frames locally at Creative Framing here in Taos, Jim Cox and his staff have done excellent and timely work.
